At the Linn-Mar Invitational the band placed 7th in a competitive class 3A.
At the Clark County Invitational, the band placed 2nd in their class with the color guard having the highest score in the class and the drum majors having the highest score among all schools in all classes.
At State Contest in Muscatine the band earned their 37th consecutive "1" rating, making it 54 out of the past 55 years to earn a top rating.
